Tap+Cork Brooklyn Beer & Wine Fest

Tap+Cork will present its 1st Annual Brooklyn Beer & Wine Fest, Sunday, August 18, at the historic Lab in Brooklyn. The day-long festival will feature award-winning selections of craft beers, regional wineries and local artisan spirits.

The inaugural event, sponsored by YRB Magazine, Bed-Vyne Wine & Bed-Vyne Brew, is expected to attract over one thousand festival-goers for an exciting day of tastings, live music and entertainment. DJ CEO of Fuse TV’s “United States of Hip-Hop” has been tapped as the event’s official deejay.

In the spirit of traditional tastings, festival-goers will sip and sample their way through the Lab’s gated outdoor lot into an expansive two-level main room as they enjoy curated cuisines from local eateries, shop local vendors and also experience live performances by select bands and musicians.

In addition, VIP attendees will enjoy a private tasting on the upper balcony for the first hour, including rare selections and passed hors d’oeuvres.

“As owners of our own wine and craft beer shops in Bed-Stuy, Bed Vyne is proud to be part of the Brooklyn Beer & Wine Fest,” said co-owner Rotimi Akinnuoye. “Residents often have to journey outside of this culturally rich neighborhood to expand their palates. We strive to bring new and unique experiences to our customers, so what better way to do that than with a festival in our own backyard.”

Tap+Cork’s Brooklyn Beer & Wine Fest takes place, Sunday, August 18, from 1pm – 7pm at The Lab, located at 1428 Fulton Street in Brooklyn, New York.

Tickets are on sale now at tapcorknyc.com/tickets. Prices range from $15-$30 for advance, designated driver and VIP tickets and include a commemorative sampling glass. Admission for this event is 21+.

Festival sponsors include YRB Magazine, Bed Vyne Wine, Manhattan Beer Distributors and DW World Media. The event is also an official part of Soul of Brooklyn Week.
